    Abstract


    The new E15Sline is thermosensitive genic male sterile line thatwas selected from 135S/Hoasuacrossingby pedigree method. The E15S has short growth duration, leaves numbers 14.1 and good phenotype such as: good tillering, stem and violet awn, long grain. The leaves and endosperm of E15S have aromatic smell mark 4. The critical sterility inducing point (CSIP) of E15S is 240C and high outcrossing ratio. The F1 was crossed between E15S and pollinators which have short growth duration, high yield, good quality and moderated resistance for disease and insects. The results of evaluation on F1 was selected E15S/Huongcom combination that has short growth duration (128 days), high yield (7.4 tons-1ha), milling rice 71.2%, head rice recovery 58.0%, long grain 7.1 mm and aromatic smell mark 3.8.
