Abstract
The CD-1 tube-type vacuum honey concentrator with a liquid ring has been designed and manufactured based on the new principle, using the liquid ringand ultrasonic deviceto increase theevaporationabilityand crystallizationinhoneyto enhancing the quality of honey products during the condensed process. The single-case experiments have been appliedto determine the influence of concentration temperature, height of liquid ring, and time of broadcasting ultrasonic waves to the synthesis point of concentrated product quality, concentration and recrystallization time, and specific cost of electricity. The results of the experiments showedthatthe equivalent ofconcentration temperaturebetween35Cand53C, increasing the height of liquid ringfrom 380mm to 680mm and time of broadcasting ultrasonic waves from 15to 30 minwill bemore effective than increasing theconcentration temperature in terms of reducing quality due to heat effect, the concentration-time and specific cost of electricity.
