  • Abstract


    This paper studiedthe connection of wind farm using permanent magnet synchronous generators model to the main grid. The interests were the fault ride through capability and the ability to recover operation of wind turbines according to the wind grid code requirements. Wind turbine generators using permanent magnet synchronous potentially provide a definite reactive power depending on the instantaneous voltage level of connection point and they must return quickly to normal operation. Simulations were conducted by PSS/E.
