ON THE PICTURE FUZZY DATABASE: THEORIES AND APPLICATION

Around the 1970s, the concept of the (crisp) relational database was introdued which enables us to store and practice with an organized collection of data. In a relational database, all data are stored and accessed via relations. The extension of the relational data base can be done in several directions. Fuzzy relational database generalizes the classical relational database. In this paper, we introduce a new concept: picture fuzzy database (PFDB), study some queries on a picture fuzzy database, and give an example to illustrate the application of this database model.
